Job summary

Jumeirah Al Naseem is seeking an Assistant Engineering Manager - Engineering to join our luxury team from October 2026. You will assist in planning engineering strategies, supervise daily operations, and manage maintenance work orders.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in engineering operations within luxury hospitality, 2–3 years in a leadership role, a Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, health and safety certification, and the UAE Family Book.

Qualifications

5+ years in engineering operations within luxury hospitality.
2–3 years in a leadership role.
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
Health and safety certified.
Formal qualification in an Engineering discipline.
Family Book (UAE)

Responsibilities

Assist in planning and implementing engineering strategies and preventive maintenance schedules.
Supervise daily operations, ensuring timely completion of work orders and adherence to SOPs.
Manage inventory of spare parts and tools, ensuring cost-effective procurement and usage.
Prepare reports on maintenance activities, equipment performance and budget utilization.
Support recruitment, training, and development of engineering staff.
Handle escalated technical issues and coordinate with vendors for specialized repairs.
