Bamboo Card LLC, Dubai-based, seeks an experienced Engineering Manager to lead one or more engineering teams. You will own delivery, health, and growth, partnering with Technical Leads and Product Managers to plan and execute engineering initiatives.

Manage support tickets, provide leadership reporting, and ensure distributed teams stay aligned and accountable. Responsibilities include end-to-end planning, sprint leadership, KPI tracking, and collaboration with CTO and Product.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in an engineering management role.
• Strong .NET Core, microservices and event-driven architecture knowledge.
• Experience with AWS including cost management, monitoring, and security.
• Proven delivery planning and agile execution experience.
• Experience managing distributed/remote teams.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Hands-on with incident response and support processes.
• Ability to mentor and grow team members.

Responsabilités

• Lead 1:1s, performance reviews and growth plans for direct reports.
• Provide mentorship, feedback, and coaching to support career development.
• Foster collaboration, psychological safety, and continuous improvement.
• Support onboarding, integration, and retention of remote and onsite team members.
• Lead bi-annual team evaluation rounds with timely, constructive reviews.
• Own end-to-end planning and execution of engineering initiatives (features, epics, milestones).
• Partner with Product Managers to define sprint goals and timelines.
• Monitor progress, remove blockers, and ensure on-time delivery.
• Lead sprint grooming, planning, reviews, retrospectives, and follow-ups.
• Define quarterly and annual engineering goals with CTO and Product.
• Own and track KPIs related to delivery, quality, and team performance.
• Provide clear status reports and forecasts to leadership.
• Highlight risks, dependencies, and capacity challenges proactively.
• Collaborate with Technical Leads on design decisions, roadmaps, and design reviews.
• Participate in code reviews, incident analysis, and performance reviews as needed.
• Guide conversations and unblock teams without micromanaging.
• Provide hands-on support for critical deliveries when required.
• Own and coordinate resolution of engineering-related support tickets, triaging by severity and impact.
• Ensure timely assignment, resolution, and tracking of all engineering support issues.
• Lead post-incident reviews and follow-ups with clear documentation.
• Track recurring incidents and initiate long-term fixes to reduce support volume.
• Review and approve remote employees' working hours and timesheets.
• Ensure distributed teams stay aligned, engaged, and accountable.
• Facilitate remote-friendly standups, updates, and collaboration rituals.
