Job summary

Ali & Sons Holding LLC is seeking an HR Business Partner for its Marine Engineering and Industrial Manufacturing business. The role requires partnering with engineering and operations leaders to align people strategies with project priorities.

You will work across governance, performance, talent reviews, succession planning, recruitment, and employee relations to drive business outcomes. UAE labour law knowledge and an engineering/technical background are highly valued.

Qualifications

• 10–14 years of progressive HR experience, including strong HRBP/generalist background.
• Experience in Oil & Gas, Marine, Engineering, Industrial Manufacturing, EPC, Fabrication, Energy or similar technical environments.
• Engineering/technical background is highly preferred.
• Strong workforce planning and manpower budgeting experience.
• Strong employee relations and conflict-resolution capability.
• Experience with performance, talent, succession and internal mobility.
• Strong recruitment and interviewing experience.
• Strong understanding of HR governance and UAE Labour Law.
• Arabic is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Engineering, Operations, Production, Projects, HSE, Quality, Commercial and other leaders to provide practical HR advice aligned with business priorities.
• Collaborate with HR Centres of Excellence to deliver the corporate HR agenda (Performance Management, Talent Reviews, Succession Planning, Talent Mobility, Engagement, L&D, Leadership Development, Diversity & Equity, Organisation Design).
• Lead manpower planning and budgeting; translate project needs into workforce plans; support recruitment of critical technical and leadership roles.
• Conduct interviews and competency-based assessments; identify skills gaps and succession risks; support internal mobility.
• Ensure governance in HR policies and manage complex disciplinary, grievance, investigation and ER cases; ensure documentation and escalation as needed.
