Job summary

Al Boom Marine in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, seeks a dynamic Retail HRBP to partner with retail leadership and align HR strategies with business goals. The role focuses on performance, talent management, and workforce planning for our retail operations.

The ideal candidate brings extensive HRBP experience in retail, deep knowledge of UAE labour laws, and strong stakeholder influence. A CIPD or equivalent qualification is desirable, with a track record of driving recruitment and HR initiatives

Qualifications

• Proven work experience as an HR Business Partner or similar senior HR role, with significant experience in the retail industry.
• In-depth knowledge of UAE labour law and HR best practices.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
• Demonstrable experience with HR metrics and proficiency in HRIS systems.
• A CIPD qualification or equivalent is highly desirable.
• Ability to work effectively in a diverse, multi-national organisation.

Responsibilities

• Acting as a single point of contact for the employees and managers in the retail division.
• Proactively supporting the delivery of HR processes and initiatives across the retail sector.
• Managing complex employee relations issues, including dispute resolutions, disciplinaries, grievances, and absence management.
• Collaborating with business leaders to develop and implement effective talent management strategies, including performance management, succession planning, and career development.
• Providing expert advice and guidance on UAE labour law and company HR policies.
• Driving recruitment and retention strategies to attract and retain high-calibre talent for our retail stores and support functions.
• Analysing HR metrics and trends to provide insights and data-driven recommendations to the retail leadership team.
• Championing organisational change initiatives, ensuring smooth implementation and employee engagement.
