Job summary

Tanqeeb in Dubai is seeking an energetic HR Business Partner to support our Automotive operations across brands. You will partner with senior management and people managers to translate business needs into practical people plans.

The role covers manpower planning, workforce budgeting, recruitment, performance management, succession, internal mobility and employee relations in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment. Arabic and English bilingual capability is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business or Psychology.
• CIPD or equivalent qualification is a strong advantage.
• Arabic and English bilingual capability is preferred.
• 8–12 years of progressive HR experience, ideally in automotive/retail or similar environment.

Responsibilities

• Act as trusted HR advisor to Automotive senior management and managers across brands/functions.
• Lead manpower planning, workforce budgeting and recruitment planning.
• Deliver HR initiatives including Performance Management, Talent Reviews & Succession Planning, Talent Mobility and Internal Career Movement.
• Coach managers on performance, discipline and employee relations to ensure governance and employee experience.

???? We’re Hiring | HR Business Partner – Automotive | Dubai We are looking for an energetic, commercially minded and highly hands-on HR Business Partner to join our Automotive business in Dubai.
This is not a traditional “HR policy” role. We are looking for someone who genuinely understands the automotive business and speaks its language - someone equally comfortable discussing manpower requirements with a Sales Manager, performance issues with a Workshop Manager, talent with a General Manager, or workforce productivity with senior leadership.
You will partner closely with our Automotive Management and people managers across multiple brands and business lines, while working hand-in-hand with the HR Centres of Excellence (CoEs) to translate the corporate HR agenda into practical, business-focused solutions.
What you will do
Business Partnering Act as a trusted HR advisor to Automotive senior management and people managers across multiple brands and functions. Understand the commercial and operational realities of new car retail, fleet sales, used cars, aftersales, service, parts and supporting functions. Translate business priorities into practical people plans and HR interventions. Challenge, coach and support managers on people decisions while balancing business performance, employee experience and governance.
HR CoE Delivery & Talent Mobility Partner closely with the HR CoEs to ensure effective implementation of the corporate HR agenda across the Automotive business. Facilitate and deliver key HR initiatives including:Performance Management Talent Reviews & Succession Planning Talent Mobility and Internal Career Movement Internal mobility, promotions, transfers and talent deployment Employee Engagement Surveys & Action Planning Diversity, Inclusion & Equity initiatives Leadership and people-manager development Learning & Development programmes Career and talent development initiatives Identify internal talent and mobility opportunities across brands, functions and business lines. Support managers and employees in navigating career opportunities and internal moves. Ensure talent decisions are aligned with succession plans, capability requirements and future business needs.
Workforce & Commercial HRLead and support manpower planning, workforce optimisation and manpower budgeting. Partner with business leaders on organizational structures, productivity and employee costs. Support recruitment planning and ensure the right talent is in the right roles at the right time. Participate in interviews and provide sound HR and competency-based assessment. Use people data and business insights to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
Employee Relations & Performance Coach managers on performance management, including performance improvement plans. Provide practical guidance on disciplinary cases, grievances, investigations and employee relations matters. Ensure consistent application of HR policies and UAE employment requirements. Help managers build a high-performance, accountable and engaged culture.
What we are looking for We are looking for an experienced HR Generalist / HR Business Partner with approximately 8–12 years of progressive HR experience, ideally gained within the automotive, retail, mobility, FMCG or another highly operational and customer-facing environment.
You should have:Strong HR generalist foundations with proven HRBP experience. Automotive industry experience is highly preferred. A genuine understanding of automotive operations — Retail, Fleet, Used Cars, Aftersales, Service and Parts. Strong commercial and business acumen. Experience partnering with senior leaders as well as frontline and middle management. Practical experience in performance management, talent, succession, engagement, talent mobility and workforce planning. Experience delivering HR programmes and training to people managers. Strong employee relations and UAE employment-law knowledge. Experience with manpower planning, budgeting and employee cost management. Strong interviewing and recruitment capability. A Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Psychology or a related discipline. CIPD or equivalent professional qualification is a strong advantage. Arabic and English bilingual capability is preferred.
