Overview
Leading infrastructure consultancy AECOM Middle East is hiring UAE National graduates for a structured development program focused on electrical infrastructure design, utilities engineering, and digital engineering practices. The program provides hands‑on project experience, technical training, and mentorship to develop early‑career engineers into future industry leaders.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design of dry utility systems including power distribution, street lighting, and telecom networks
- Support engineering teams in delivering technical outputs within project timelines and quality standards
- Analyze project data and contribute to multidisciplinary BIM models and design coordination
- Utilize engineering software such as AutoCAD, GIS, and related tools to solve design challenges
- Participate in design coordination meetings and provide technical input
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure continuity and integration of design processes
- Support verification and quality checks of design outputs produced by BIM and CAD teams
- Contribute to digital engineering initiatives and adoption of new tools within the design workflow
- Assist in problem‑solving tasks by applying theoretical knowledge to real‑world engineering challenges
- Maintain documentation and support reporting activities related to project progress
Ideal Profile
- UAE National with valid family book as per Emiratisation requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university
- Strong academic performance with a minimum GPA of 2.8
- Basic knowledge of engineering software tools such as AutoCAD, GIS, or programming languages
- Willingness to learn and adapt within a structured graduate development program
- Strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
