Job summary

Sundus in Dubai is seeking an experienced electrical engineer with 7 years of hands-on work in 400/132kV UG installation, testing, jointing, termination and maintenance.

The role requires fault locating, preventive maintenance, investigations, and adherence to OH&S standards; SAP experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering required.
• 7 years of experience as an engineer in 400/132kV UG installation, testing, jointing, termination & maintenance.
• Experience with OH&S management and SAP is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Locate cables faults and conduct preventive maintenance of transmission cables.
• Plan and supervise testing, jointing, termination and maintenance of 400/132kV UG installations.
• Investigate technical issues, analyze problems and ensure safety compliance.

• Bachelor s degree in electrical engineering 7 years experience as engineer in 400/132kV UG installation, testing, jointing, termination & maintenance.
• Experience in cable fault locating, corrective/preventive maintenance, conduct investigations & analyze the technical problems and execute preventive measures, Control, follow-up, and plan of routine and emergency maintenance of Transmission Cables.
• Knowledge of OH&S Management System requirements in line with applicable safety standards is required. Computer proficiency preferably in SAP.
