Job summary

Client of Garfield Robbins International in Abu Dhabi seeks a mid- to senior-level Associate for its Energy Projects & Construction practice. The role focuses on major Energy Oil & Gas developments, as well as large-scale GCC infrastructure and real estate projects.

You will draft, review and negotiate construction contracts (FIDIC in particular), FEED, EPC, EPCM and related documents, with supervision from Gulf lawyers and exposure to high‑end negotiations with major clients.

Qualifications

• UK or Common Law qualified lawyers with experience in high-end construction transactions.
• GCC regional experience and Arabic language skills would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of construction contracts, including FIDIC forms.
• Assist Gulf project teams and attend client meetings, handling negotiations from outset.
