Job summary

Jobsatdubai is seeking an Employee Relations Officer to provide professional employee relations services to academic and non-academic staff at the University of Sharjah. Your role involves managing leaves, contract renewals, and tracking probation evaluations while fostering a productive work environment.

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, and 2-4 years of UAE experience in similar roles.

Qualifications

• Minimum of bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or a relevant discipline.
• 2-4 years of UAE experience in a similar role, preferably in higher education institutions.

Responsibilities

• Manage and process leaves for academic/non-academic staff.
• Handle contract renewal process and communicate with line managers.
• Track employees completing their probation period.
• Process employee benefits and allowances.
• Issue salary certificates for staff.

Skills

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Excellent working knowledge of MS Office applications

Knowledge of ERP systems related to HR operations

Understanding of employment laws and regulations

Ability to build trust and rapport with employees

Detail-oriented with accuracy

Ability to manage multiple cases

Maintains confidentiality

Empathy towards employees' concerns

Education
