Job summary

Majid Al Futtaim in Dubai is seeking a Project Engineer to assist the Development Business Unit across multiple projects, supporting Senior/Project Managers with progress reporting during design and construction.

The candidate should have a strong technical background as an engineering graduate with 2-4 years of experience, capable of preparing progress updates, coordinating design and construction tasks, and ensuring timelines, quality, safety, and sustainable delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Civil engineering.
• 2-4 years of relevant experience.
• Technical input, progress monitoring, and design coordination.
• Competencies include communication, time management, leadership, commercial awareness, ethics, customer focus, results-driven mindset, and adaptability.
• Knowledge of financial acumen, computer proficiency, local regulations and industry best practices.

Responsibilities

• Support the Delivery Team in preparing project status updates.
• Schedule, coordinate, and monitor assigned tasks.
• Interact daily with consultants and contractors to ensure requirements and timelines are met.
• Prepare overall progress reports for the project.
• Collaborate with the Senior Project Manager and project participants to provide technical support.
• Review engineering deliverables and initiate corrective actions as needed.
• Assist in developing strategies for successful project delivery across design, construction, and maintenance.
• Monitor time, quality, safety, and sustainability to minimize delays.
