Job summary

Majid Al Futtaim is seeking a project engineer to support the Development Business Unit. You will assist in technical aspects, prepare progress for projects, and coordinate with senior managers and external consultants throughout design and construction.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in architecture and 2-4 years of relevant experience, with strong communication and time-management skills. The role emphasizes quality, safety, and timely delivery.

Responsibilities

• Support the Delivery Team in preparing project status updates.
• Schedule, coordinate, and monitor assigned tasks.
• Interact daily with consultants and contractors to ensure project requirements are met and timelines are adhered to.
• Prepare overall progress reports for the project.
• Collaborate effectively with the Senior Project Manager and project participants to provide technical support.
• Review engineering deliverables and initiate corrective actions as needed.
• Assist in developing strategies for successful project delivery, focusing on design, construction, and maintenance.
• Monitor project aspects including time, quality, safety, and sustainability, while minimizing delays.

ROLE SUMMARY

The project engineer will be expected to assist in the technical aspects of a portfolio of projects across the Development Business Unit and provide assistance to the Senior/Project Managers reporting the progress of projects. The ideal candidate is to have strong technical awareness and have a background as an engineering Graduate with basic experience in preparing progress for projects during design and construction stages.
