Job summary

Majid Al Futtaim seeks a project engineer to assist in technical aspects across a portfolio of projects in the Development Business Unit. You will support senior/project managers by tracking progress and preparing updates during design and construction stages.

The role requires 2–4 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree in architecture, with strong technical awareness and collaboration with consultants and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Prepare project status updates with the Delivery Team.
• Schedule, coordinate, and monitor assigned tasks.
• Interact daily with consultants and contractors to meet requirements and deadlines.
• Prepare overall progress reports for the project.
• Collaborate with Senior Project Manager to provide technical support.
• Review engineering deliverables and initiate corrective actions.
• Develop strategies for delivery focusing on design, construction, and maintenance.
• Monitor time, quality, safety, and sustainability, minimizing delays.

Role Summary

The ideal candidate is to have strong technical awareness and have a background as an engineering Graduate with basic experience in preparing progress for projects during design and construction stages.

• Assist in developing strategies for successful project delivery, focusing on design, construction, and maintenance.
• Monitor project aspects including time, quality, safety, and sustainability, while minimizing delays.
