Job summary

RAKBANK in Dubai is seeking a motivated Collection Specialist to join our Credit Collections team and support the bank's risk management objectives. The role is open to UAE Nationals as part of Emiratisation and offers a path to growth within the banking sector.

You will manage delinquent accounts, monitor early warning indicators, engage with customers to regularize accounts, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver exceptional service and achieve team targets.

Qualifications

• UAE National (Family Book) required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Collections & Recovery or a related banking/customer service environment.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
• Ability to work in a target-driven environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Understanding of collections, customer engagement, and financial concepts is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage and recover delinquent accounts in line with agreed collection and recovery targets.
• Monitor early warning indicators and support proactive risk mitigation activities.
• Engage with customers through approved communication channels to facilitate account regularization and minimize delinquency.
• Manage an allocated portfolio while maintaining productivity, quality, and service standards.
• Resolve customer queries professionally and escalates complex matters where appropriate.
• Support process improvement initiatives and contribute to operational excellence within the Collections function.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver a positive customer experience and achieve team objectives.
