Job summary

Column seeks an Emerging Markets Lead based in Dubai to drive 0-to-1 growth for a new banking product by building and nurturing partnerships across Eastern Europe and Central Asia. You will manage relationships with banks, fintechs, and customers while coordinating with Legal, Compliance, and Product teams. Regular regional travel is expected.

The role demands strong networking, strategic thinking, and a track record of high‑value partnerships with executive stakeholders across multiple markets.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in partnerships, business development, growth, operations or strategy.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional market development: identify, evaluate, and execute high‑value partnerships with banks in international markets.
• Build and maintain key relationships as the primary owner for prospective and existing customers.
• Own complex deal processes from outreach to contract signature with Legal, Compliance, and Product teams.
• Develop market intelligence on local conditions, regulatory developments, and competitive landscape.
• Become an expert on correspondent banking in emerging markets and network with banking/fintech ecosystems.
• Build scalable onboarding and relationship-management processes for expansion.
