Job summary

HSBC in the UAE is hiring a Branch Teller & Service Officer (UAE Nationals) for the Jebel Ali Branch. You will assist customers with enquiries about delivery items and manage high volumes of transactions with proper controls, while ensuring compliance with internal procedures and privacy rules.

The role requires strong English and Arabic communication, a graduation degree for UAE visa eligibility, and a customer‑centric mindset with a willingness to go the extra mile for clients.

Qualifications

• Graduation degree is a must to secure a UAE Visa and Work Permit.
• Prior experience in customer due diligence document processing and bank processing related roles is must.
• Experience of successfully handling customers via email, phone line and face to face meetings.
• Excellent command in spoken and written English and Arabic.
• Customer centric and ready to go an extra mile to provide best in class service to clients.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers by effectively dealing with their enquiries pertaining to delivery items of all types.
• Managing significant volumes of transactions of large amount and process them with appropriate authorisation and controls.
• Contribute to the Banks business objectives and goals by providing personalized effective service while ensuring full compliance with procedures.
• Receive cheque returns sent by Clearing and other branches for accounts pertaining to respective Branch.
• Delivery of Cheque returns to the customers as per procedure notifying customers for returned cheques and updating in system.
• Ensure records are being sent for scanning to be filed and indexed under Filing.
