Job summary

Otis L.L.C. in Dubai is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to support the release of modernization elevator projects for manufacturing.

You will review project requirements, verify technical specifications, and coordinate with Sales, Field Operations, Engineering, and Factory teams to ensure timely and accurate order releases. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, at least 3 years in the elevator industry, and strong AutoCAD skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil or related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 3 years experience in elevator modernization, engineering, manufacturing or project coordination.
• Good understanding of elevator systems, layouts and installation requirements.
• Proficiency in reading technical drawings and engineering documents.

Responsibilities

• Review modernization elevator projects and prepare them for Release for Manufacturing (RFM).
• Verify technical specifications, layouts, and configurations for customer requirements and standards.
• Coordinate with Sales, Field Operations, Engineering and Factory to resolve issues impacting order release.
• Monitor project milestones and ensure timely completion of RFM activities.
• Manage and track project documentation, deviations, approvals and design changes.
• Support factory inquiries and provide clarification on project requirements.
• Identify risks and manufacturing issues and drive corrective actions.
• Maintain clear communication with all stakeholders for smooth project execution.
