Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Review modernization elevator projects and prepare them for Release for Manufacturing (RFM).
• Verify technical specifications, layouts and configurations for customer and company standards.
• Coordinate with Sales, Field Operations, Engineering and Factory to resolve issues affecting order release.
• Monitor milestones and ensure timely completion of RFM activities.
• Maintain project documentation, deviations, approvals and design changes.
• Support factory inquiries and clarify project requirements when needed.
• Identify risks and drive corrective actions to prevent manufacturing issues.
• Communicate clearly with stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Technical Support Engineer to support the release of modernization elevator projects for manufacturing. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing project requirements, ensuring technical compliance, and coordinating with Sales, Field Operations, and Factory teams to facilitate timely and accurate order releases.

Key Responsibilities

• Review modernization (MOD) elevator projects and prepare them for Release for Manufacturing (RFM).
• Verify technical specifications, layouts, and configurations to ensure compliance with customer requirements and company standards.
• Coordinate closely with Sales, Field Operations, Engineering, and Factory teams to resolve technical and commercial issues impacting order release.
• Monitor project milestones and ensure timely completion of RFM activities.
• Manage and track project documentation, deviations, approvals, and design changes.
• Support factory inquiries and provide clarification on project requirements when required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering , or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the elevator industry , preferably in modernization, engineering, manufacturing, or project coordination roles.
• Good understanding of elevator systems, components, layouts, and installation requirements.
• Proficiency in reading technical drawings and engineering documents.

Skills & Competencies

• Proficiency in AutoCAD with the ability to review and modify elevator layouts and engineering drawings.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Good project coordination and management abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams including Sales, Field Operations, Supply Chain, and Factory personnel.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with elevator modernization projects and manufacturing release processes.
• Familiarity with ERP, order management, or engineering management systems.
• Knowledge of industry standards and elevator codes would be an advantage.
