Position Overview
Parsons is seeking an Elevated Structures Expert - High-Speed Rail in Abu Dhabi, UAE to provide specialist structural engineering leadership for a major PMC rail project. The role will serve as the Subject Matter Expert for elevated rail infrastructure, including viaducts, guideways, elevated stations, rail bridges, and precast segmental structures throughout design, construction, testing, and commissioning. The position requires an extensive structural rail bridge design background combined with practical construction expertise and technical leadership.
The Elevated Structures Expert will oversee structural design reviews, validate complex analysis, assess constructability, support site engineering, and coordinate multidisciplinary interfaces while maintaining compliance with international railway standards, safety requirements, and project quality procedures.

Structural Engineering Leadership
- Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for elevated rail structures across the complete project lifecycle.
- Provide specialist engineering leadership from concept development through detailed design, construction, testing, and commissioning.
- Lead technical reviews of elevated viaducts and guideways.

What Required Skills You 'LL Bring
- Bachelor 's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
- Minimum 15 years of relevant structural engineering design and construction experience.
- Minimum 10 years of experience on metro, rail, or high-speed rail projects.
- Professional registration such as PE, CEng, or equivalent is required.
- Proven experience with elevated rail viaducts.
- Strong rail bridge engineering experience.
- Experience with elevated station structures.
- Extensive knowledge of precast segmental structures.
- Strong understanding of prestressed concrete structural design.
- Advanced knowledge of railway structural design standards.
- Experience with seismic structural design.
- Strong understanding of structural dynamic analysis.
