Job summary

Parsons in Abu Dhabi seeks an Elevated Structures Expert to provide specialist structural leadership for a major PMC high-speed rail project. You will oversee design review, technical evaluation, and construction support for viaducts, guideways, stations, bridges, and precast elements.

The role requires extensive rail structure design experience, strong leadership, and coordination with clients, authorities, and multidisciplinary teams through design, testing, and commissioning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required.
• Master's degree preferred for advanced responsibilities.
• Professional registration as PE, CEng, or equivalent required.
• Minimum 15 years of related design and construction experience.
• At least 10 years in metro, rail, or high-speed rail projects for leadership.
• Experience with elevated structures and precast segmental construction.
• Proficient with specified structural analysis software.

Responsibilities

• Lead design reviews and technical evaluations for elevated rail structures.
• Provide construction support and oversee drawings, BIM models, and reports.
• Ensure compliance with Eurocodes, AASHTO, AREMA, UIC, EN, BS standards, and local codes.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and clients; manage interfaces and workshops.
• Mentor engineers and respond to technical inquiries and changes.
