Job summary

EDGE, based in Abu Dhabi, seeks a Project Specialist (Electronic Warfare) to plan, coordinate, and oversee complex technical projects from initiation to completion. The role requires fluent English and Arabic, a relevant engineering or business degree, and 5+ years managing defense/aerospace or electronics projects with RF systems knowledge.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing technical, engineering, or product development projects, preferably in defense, aerospace, radar, or electronic warfare.
• Working knowledge of RF systems and electronic warfare concepts sufficient to communicate with engineering teams.
• Experience managing complex cross-functional projects from initiation to closure.

Responsibilities

• Define project objectives, scope, deliverables, timeline, and resources requirements.
• Develop detailed project plans and ensure alignment with business goals.
• Monitor and control evolving project plans with the technical team.
• Prepare project budgets and monitor expenditure for cost control and value optimization.
• Report on budget variances and implement corrective measures.
• Support procurement activities including requisition tracking and vendor coordination.
• Proactively identify and assess risks to project delivery and implement mitigation strategies.
• Monitor schedules to meet key milestones and optimize resource usage.
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders and provide regular status updates.
• Ensure deliverables meet defined standards and conduct quality reviews.
