Job summary

S K OVERSEAS HR CONSULTANCY in the UAE seeks an experienced Electrical Supervisor to oversee OHL installation and maintenance for pipeline and piping projects. You will review drawings, plan tasks, supervise poles, transformers, and testing, ensuring safety and quality on site.

Candidates should have BE/BTech with 3 years, Diploma with 5, or ITI with 10+ years experience, Gulf/EPC exposure preferred, and strong leadership. Immediate joiners preferred; interview logistics provided.

Job description

Review electrical drawings schematics and specifications focusing on OHL and electrical systems for pipeline and piping projects Plan and allocate daily tasks to the electrical team to ensure efficient execution of OHL and electrical activities Ensure the availability of tools equipment and materials for electrical and OHL tasks Supervise the erection of poles towers and structures for overhead lines OHL Oversee the stringing sagging and tensioning of conductors ensuring compliance with industry standards Coordinate the installation of transformers circuit breakers and other electrical equipment Supervise testing of OHL systems including insulation resistance continuity and phase sequence tests Ensure proper commissioning of electrical systems including grounding and load testing Oversee routine maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical systems and OHL components Identify and resolve faults in electrical circuits transformers and OHL components Ensure all electrical and OHL activities adhere to project specifications and industry standards Conduct inspections to verify compliance with design and quality requirements Enforce strict adherence to HSE policies during all electrical and OHL activities Conduct risk assessments and toolbox talks emphasizing safety when working at heights and with live systems Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment PPE and grounding techniques Collaborate with other discipline supervisors civil piping mechanical to ensure smooth project execution Communicate progress challenges and resource requirements to site engineers or construction managers Maintain records of daily progress manpower material usage and prepare reports on electrical installations testing and inspections

BE/BTech with 3 years’ experience/ Diploma with 5 years’ experience/ ITI with 10+ years’ experience Minimum 5-8 years of experience in electrical supervision, with specific expertise in OHL installation and maintenance. Proficiency in interpreting electrical drawings, schematics, and standards for OHL and industrial electrical systems. Knowledge of OHL components such as poles, insulators, conductors, and transformers. Familiarity with industry standards and electrical safety codes. Strong leadership and team management abilities. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Eligibility Criteria

• Experience in construction (not design), Pipeline / Oil & Gas / EPC / Flowline / Wellhead / Brownfield / Upstream / Onshore
• Gulf / ADNOC experience preferred
• Clean-shaven policy applicable
• Candidates must be immediate joiners
• Candidates with Metro / Building / Road Infrastructure experience are not eligible
