Job summary

Siemens Energy in Dubai invites an Engineering Working Intern to join our Grid Technologies Substations unit, collaborating with senior engineers on calculations, drawings, and documentation that support real infrastructure delivery across the UAE. You will refine technical schematics, organize critical project records, and help ensure substation projects move forward accurately and on schedule.

This hands-on internship offers exposure to CAD tools, data analysis, and professional teamwork

Qualifications

• Enrolled in or a fresh graduate with a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering or closely related field.
• Solid foundation in core engineering principles from coursework.
• Working knowledge of CAD software (AutoCAD) and ability to support data analysis tasks.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office for documentation and reporting.
• Strong learning agility and attention to detail with quick concept uptake.
• Effective communication and teamwork to collaborate with senior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Support senior engineers with calculations, data collection, and technical analysis for substation projects.
• Assist in preparing and modifying technical drawings and schematics using CAD under supervision.
• Review technical specifications and project documentation to understand requirements and standards.
• Participate in team meetings to stay informed on project status and challenges.
• Contribute to creation and maintenance of essential project documentation and records.
• Organize engineering files in the document management system and provide admin support.
