Job summary

Parsons Corporation in Dubai, United Arab Emirates is seeking an Electrical Engineer - Infrastructure with extensive construction and supervision experience to support building and infrastructure delivery on-site.

The role requires deep knowledge of DEWA regulations, LV/HV electrical works, and coordination with contractors, consultants, clients, and authorities. You will lead engineering deliverables, review designs, and ensure timely authority approvals while mentoring engineers and CAD staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 15+ years of experience managing construction and supervising building projects and infrastructure works.
• Experience working with Dubai government and local authorities, including DEWA, RTA, and DM.
• Familiarity with DEWA regulations, procedures, design reviews, submissions and approval requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop or supervise engineering deliverables meeting customer quality requirements.
• Define engineering problems, establish work scope, prepare budgets and schedules, plan activities, provide technical direction, and report work status.
• Prepare and review detailed calculations, drawings, procurement documents, design and installation packages, proposal evaluations, technical reports, and analyses.
• Provide technical support for other engineering activities as required.
• Supervise assigned personnel and provide input on performance.
• Serve as discipline lead on small to mid-size projects and coordinate teams.
• Provide technical direction to CAD Designers, Drafters, Designers and junior engineers.
• Apply DEWA procedures, technical review and approval requirements.
• Review electrical drawings and designs before DEWA submission.
• Follow up with contractors and DEWA to progress required approvals.
• Maintain relevant project files and records and ensure contractor responsibilities are met.
• Coordinate LV and HV electrical works with DEWA and contractors.

What You 'll Be Doing
