Job description

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supervise Electrical Work: Oversee installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems in ship repair and shipbuilding projects.
• Technical Compliance: Ensure electrical systems meet design specifications, industry standards, and project requirements.
• Testing & Commissioning: Conduct functional testing of electrical systems, including generators, switchboards, motors, and control panels.
• Problem-Solving: Diagnose and resolve faults in electrical circuits, control systems, and power distribution networks.
• Resource Management: Manage manpower, materials, and equipment to optimize efficiency and reduce downtime.
• Project Coordination: Work closely with the project engineer, production teams, and other departments to meet project timelines.
• Safety Enforcement: Implement safety measures, conduct risk assessments, and ensure compliance with electrical safety standards.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed records of electrical work, inspection reports, and material usage for project documentation.
• Process Improvement: Identify areas for efficiency enhancement in electrical installations and maintenance activities.
