Job summary

EDGE Group PJSC in the UAE seeks a senior electrical engineer to design LV/MV switchgear, develop and validate electrical systems, and ensure compliance with IEC/IEEE standards. You will translate client requirements into robust specifications and collaborate across functions for seamless integration.

The role demands hands-on prototyping, testing, and troubleshooting in a fast-paced defense tech environment, with strong English communication and UAE driving capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree required; Master preferred.
• Five to ten years of experience.
• Defense Industry experience is an advantage.
• Microsoft Office proficiency preferred.
• Effective English communication required.
• Have or obtain a UAE driving license.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer requirements into technical specifications.
• Contribute to design, development, and validation of electrical systems.
• Support cross-functional collaboration for system integration and compliance.
• Participate in prototyping, testing, and troubleshooting activities.
• Ensure adherence to applicable standards and project requirements.
• Hands-on involvement in project activities and delivery.
