Job summary

Al Ghurair Investment LLC in Dubai seeks an experienced Electrical Construction Supervisor to oversee day-to-day electrical installation at power project sites. You will read drawings, supervise equipment installation, coordinate with engineers, QA/QC and HSE, and drive safety and on-time delivery of infrastructure such as substations, switchgear, and cable routes.

You will ensure proper cable laying, testing, earthing and testing per procedures, supervise panels and transformers, and

Qualifications

Diploma/ITI in Electrical Engineering or related trade.
5–10 years of relevant experience in electrical construction and site supervision.
Experience in power substations, transmission/distribution, or electrical infrastructure projects preferred.
UAE/GCC project experience advantageous.
Familiarity with UAE electrical standards, utility requirements and site safety practices.

Responsibilities

Supervise day-to-day electrical installation and construction at power project sites.
Execute electrical works per drawings, specs, method statements and project requirements.
Coordinate with engineers, QA/QC, HSE, civil teams, subcontractors and other disciplines.
Monitor manpower, tools, equipment and material for productivity and milestones.
Ensure cable laying, glanding, termination, tagging, dressing and testing per procedures.
Supervise panels, switchgear, transformers, busbars and electrical equipment installations.
Ensure earthing and lightning protection systems comply with drawings.
Coordinate pre-commissioning checks and electrical testing with testing teams.
Maintain records of activities, inspections, testing and progress; ensure safety procedures.
