Job summary

Al Ghurair Investment LLC in Dubai is seeking a Lead Civil and Structural Design Engineer to lead and review design activities for power project substations, utility buildings and related infrastructure.

You will prepare and review designs, calculations and technical documentation for foundations, cable trenches, roads, drainage, and earthworks, ensuring compliance with UAE standards and international codes, coordinating with electrical, mechanical and architecture teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 7–10 years of relevant civil/structural design experience.
• Experience in power substations and infrastructure.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and structural software.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil and structural design for substations and related infrastructure.
• Prepare and review foundations, transformer foundations, cable trenches, roads, drainage and earthworks.
• Coordinate with electrical, mechanical, and other engineering disciplines.
• Review drawings, calculations, specifications and technical reports for accuracy and compliance.
• Mentor junior engineers and oversee design deliverables to meet project schedules.
