Job summary

PTD-Power Transmission & Distribution - IC in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Electrical Construction lead with 10–14 years of experience. You will drive construction activities, coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, review drawings, and ensure adherence to project procedures and safety standards.

The role requires strong planning, procurement coordination, and hands-on site oversight to deliver HV, MV, LV systems and associated protection, control, and auxiliary equipment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree required.
• 10–14 years of experience in construction and electrical projects.
• Strong coordination with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Ensure engineering changes are communicated to the site team and incorporated into construction.
• Coordinate vendor drawings, equipment dimensions, cable entry requirements, and installation details.
• Raise RFIs, technical queries, and site change requests where required.
• Identify design discrepancies, constructability issues, and site constraints.
• Ensure construction is based on the latest approved drawings and revisions.
• Review electrical IFC drawings, SLDs, wiring diagrams, cable schedules, layouts, and equipment foundation requirements.
• Coordinate with the Electrical Engineering, Civil, Structural, and Mechanical teams.
• Prepare construction schedules, manpower plans, equipment requirements, and material forecasts.
