Job summary

Larsen & Toubro is seeking an Engineering Manager – Electrical BESS to lead electrical engineering and technical design for Battery Energy Storage System projects integrated with utility-scale solar. You will guide the full project lifecycle, ensuring safety, standards compliance, and timely execution across EPC activities.

The role requires deep expertise in substation design, GIS/AIS, PV/BESS plant engineering, and SCADA systems, with strong collaboration across civil, MEP, and instrumentation

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
• 8–15 years' experience, PV/BESS plants and substation with leading contractors.
• Proven experience in utility-scale Solar PV and/or BESS EPC projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical engineering and technical design for BESS projects across the full lifecycle.
• Coordinate with Remote Engineering office, Local Consultants and Local Authority for approvals.
• Review and release engineering documentation to customers and authorities; ensure compliance and timely submissions.
• Provide field engineering support to construction and commissioning teams; resolve technical issues.
