Job summary

PeopleStrong seeks an Engineering Manager – Electrical BESS to lead electrical design for utility-scale solar PV and BESS projects. You will guide the complete lifecycle, ensure safety, grid compliance, and coordination with EPC teams to meet schedules and milestones.

The role requires 8–15 years in PV/BESS/substation projects, with expertise in GIS/AIS interfaces, transformers, switchgear, and SCADA integration. UAE-based on-site leadership is expected.

Qualifications

• B.E. / B.Tech. in Electrical / Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
• 8-15 years of experience, with PV plant, BESS, Substation projects.
• Proven experience in utility-scale Solar PV and/or BESS EPC projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical engineering and technical design for BESS projects.
• Provide technical leadership across project lifecycle from concept to handover.
• Ensure designs comply with standards, grid requirements and safety.
• Coordinate with Remote Engineering, Local Consultants and Authorities.
• Review drawings, calculations, and ensure timely submissions.
• Support procurement, scheduling and site execution activities.
• Lead a team of design leads and engineers to deliver scope.
• Ensure BIM implementation and alignment with project goals.
