Job summary

LARSEN TOUBRO LIMITED is seeking a seasoned commissioning professional to lead the entire commissioning process for utility-scale Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) projects. You will develop detailed commissioning plans, schedules, and procedures, and oversee pre-commissioning checks, testing, and acceptance criteria.

The ideal candidate combines an engineering background with a PE license and 8–10 years of experience in renewable energy project commissioning, including projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent international certification is highly preferred.
• Minimum of 8–10 years of progressive experience in the commissioning of large-scale renewable energy projects, with a strong focus on Solar PV and BESS.
• Proven track record of successfully commissioning multiple Solar PV and BESS projects exceeding 500MW capacity.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the entire commissioning process for utility-scale Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) projects, ensuring adherence to design specifications and performance targets.
• Develop and implement comprehensive commissioning plans, schedules, and procedures, detailing testing methodologies and acceptance criteria.
• Oversee the execution of pre-commissioning checks, functional testing, performance testing, and integrated system testing, identifying and resolving all anomalies.
• Ensure strict compliance with all relevant safety regulations, environmental standards, and project-specific health and safety plans throughout the commissioning phase.
