Job summary

ELSEWEDY ELECTRIC invites applications for a Lead Civil Construction role focused on EHV substations in Abu Dhabi. The candidate will oversee civil scope from mobilization to handover, coordinating with electrical, MEP and commissioning teams to ensure timely interfaces and safe execution.

Applicants should have strong leadership, experience with 400kV GIS substation projects, and familiarity with Abu Dhabi utility specs.

Qualifications

Experience on TAQA / TRANSCO transmission projects in Abu Dhabi.
Strong leadership and multicultural site team management.
Knowledge of civil works for EHV substations (foundations, earthworks, drainage).
Ability to review IFC drawings, shop drawings, civil/structural calculations.
Familiarity with Abu Dhabi / UAE utility specs and HSE requirements.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage civil construction scope for EHV substations from mobilization to handover.
Plan, supervise and control site activities including earthworks, foundations, duct banks and external infrastructure.
Coordinate with electrical, MEP and commissioning teams to manage interfaces and schedules.
Manage civil subcontractors and site personnel to ensure quality and progress.
Ensure compliance with HSE requirements and maintain site documentation.
