Job summary

Confidential Company in Dubai is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer (Sr. Civil Engineer) to oversee and manage 132kV GIS/AIS substation construction projects across the UAE. You will supervise site operations and coordinate with QA/QC, HSE, and project teams.

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with 7+ years in utility substations; GCC/UAE experience preferred. Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• 7+ years of experience in 132kV GIS/AIS substation projects.
• Experience in Utility, T&D, or EPC projects; GCC/UAE preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Site activities and ensure safety compliance.
• Direct site operations and enforce safety standards.
• Document site activities and maintain project records.
• Maintain accurate progress and quantities records.
• Ensure quality through QC measures and inspections.
• Coordinate with QA/QC, HSE, and project teams.
• Review construction drawings and specs for accuracy.
• Support approvals and coordinate with clients and authorities.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and progress.
• Prepare progress reports and handover documentation.
• Verify work quantities and construction quality.
• Ensure compliance with DEWA/TRANSCO standards where applicable.
• Assist in project handover activities.
