Job summary

EPCL is seeking an HSE Inspector to support the EHS Department with field duties and continuous improvement of safety programs at the refinery. The role focuses on applying international best practices and local regulations to protect personnel, assets, and the surrounding community.

Qualifications

• An Engineering Graduate – preferred.
• NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent.
• Should have EHS auditing experience.
• Minimum of 2 years in the Processing Industry.
• Good communication & report writing skills; should be team orientated.

Responsibilities

• Implements a proactive EHS Field Plan to protect health and safety of field personnel and assets.
• Manages a defined refinery area on a four-month rotational basis.
• Participates in Hazard Identification & Control meetings for non-routine work in the area of responsibility.
• Conducts daily EHS inspections and takes immediate remedial action, reporting to the work lead.
• Participates in Incident Investigations as required by EHS leadership.
• Responds to refinery emergencies as part of the Incident Command System.
• Analyzes and compiles progress reports for the assigned area.
