Job summary

Confidential Company in Dubai is seeking an experienced EHSQ Leader to develop and implement comprehensive health, safety, quality, and environmental policies across our operations. You will lead site inspections, incident investigations, and training programs, drive ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 initiatives, and liaison with regulators to ensure compliance.

A proactive, data-driven approach and at least five years in manufacturing or construction EHSQ roles are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Occupational Health, Engineering, or a related scientific field.
• CSP, CIH, or NEBOSH certifications are highly valued.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in EHSQ roles within manufacturing or construction.
• Proficiency in developing and implementing EHSQ management systems (e.g., ISO 14001, ISO 45001).

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive EHSQ policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance and company objectives.
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify hazards, assess risks, and recommend corrective actions.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, determining root causes and implementing preventative measures.
• Manage and maintain EHSQ management systems such as ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 for continuous improvement.
• Deliver engaging EHSQ training programs to employees at all levels to foster a strong safety culture.
• Oversee environmental impact assessments and waste management programs for sustainable practices.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies, government agencies, and external auditors to ensure legal compliance.
• Develop and manage emergency response plans, conducting drills and ensuring preparedness.
• Analyze EHSQ data to identify trends, report performance, and drive strategic improvements.
• Champion a proactive approach to EHSQ, encouraging employee involvement and feedback.
