Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking an Environment, Health & Safety Lead Engineer to analyze occupational hazards and environmental risks, and prescribe preventive and corrective measures to meet local laws and company policies. You will lead safety culture, training, audits, incident investigations, and compliance across Gulf Services.

The role requires NEBOSH IGC, ISO 45001/14001 lead auditor certs, and strong leadership.

Qualifications

Bachelor's level qualification in safety, EH&S, or related field.
NEBOSH IGC certificate is a must; lead auditor ISO 45001 & ISO 14001 knowledge.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with continuous improvement focus.
Proficiency in HSE management systems and tools.
Exceptional communication and leadership skills to engage stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Contribute to promote a strong safety culture for Gulf Services Team.
Develop and deliver safety training programs and campaigns.
Induction training for new hires, partners and contractors.
Conduct job hazard analysis to identify loss potential.
Ensure compliance with local, national, regional, and international regulations.
Maintain ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 program requirements and certification.
Manage incident investigations with root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
Maintain records, prepare reports to meet regulatory requirements.
Involve safety team in tendering stages for projects.
Carry out safety site audits and report findings with corrective actions.
Ensure safety compliance from contractors and partners.
Track safety KPIs and take action as needed.
