Job summary

Rosewood Abu Dhabi seeks an Engineering Supervisor to oversee engineering operations, maintain accurate records, coordinate procurement, and support budgeting and reporting processes. You will work with vendors, contractors, and cross‑functional teams to sustain safe, efficient facilities and exceptional guest experiences.

You will supervise daily assignments, track maintenance activities, and contribute to cost control while upholding Rosewood Abu Dhabi’s standards of service and safety.

Qualifications

• Experience in engineering administration, facilities coordination, procurement, or hotel operations.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and attention to detail.
• Experience using inventory systems, reports, and administrative processes.

THE TEAM

The Engineering team at Rosewood Abu Dhabi is responsible for ensuring the hotel’s facilities, equipment, and infrastructure operate efficiently and safely to support exceptional guest and associate experiences. Through proactive maintenance, effective planning, and strong vendor partnerships, the team plays a vital role in the smooth operation of the property.

As an Engineering Supervisor, you will report to the Director of Engineering and work closely with engineering associates, vendors, and cross-functional departments to support daily operations and departmental performance.

YOUR ROLE

As an Engineering Supervisor, you will support the management of engineering operations through effective administration, inventory control, vendor coordination, and maintenance planning.

You will play a key role in ensuring the department operates efficiently by maintaining accurate records, supporting procurement activities, coordinating preventive maintenance programs, and assisting with budgeting and reporting processes. Your organizational skills and operational awareness will contribute directly to the success of the Engineering department and the overall guest experience.

HOW YOU’LL MAKE THE PLACE

• Coordinate procurement, receiving, and inventory control activities for engineering supplies, equipment, and materials
• Monitor vendor relationships, purchase orders, service agreements, and deliveries to support operational requirements
• Support preventive maintenance planning and track engineering work orders to ensure timely completion
• Maintain accurate inventory records, documentation, reports, and departmental files
• Assist with departmental budgeting, financial reporting, accruals, and administrative processes
• Supervise daily engineering assignments and support the team in achieving operational and safety standards
  

COULD THIS BE YOU?

• You have experience in engineering administration, facilities coordination, procurement, or hotel operations
• You are highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail
• You have experience working with inventory management systems, reports, and administrative processes
• You are confident using Microsoft Office applications and computerized management systems
• You possess strong communication skills and enjoy collaborating with colleagues, contractors, and vendors
• You are proactive, solution-oriented, and committed to delivering operational excellence in a hospitality environment
