Job summary

Rosewood Abu Dhabi's Talent Development Manager will shape the associate experience by leading the hotel's training strategy, ensuring colleagues have the skills to deliver exceptional guest experiences while upholding Rosewood standards.

Working closely with Human Resources and operational leaders, you will oversee onboarding, leadership development, quality assurance, learning programs, and engagement activities that support growth and our brand standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, delivery, and evaluation of learning and development programs.
• Champion Rosewood Brand Standards and LQA initiatives through audits and training interventions.
• Oversee onboarding, leadership development, and probationary follow-up processes.
• Manage leadership and talent development initiatives including mentorship, cross-training, internships, and graduate programs.
• Analyze feedback, guest satisfaction data, and engagement surveys to identify training opportunities.
• Develop and manage annual training plans, calendars, budgets, and training records.

THE TEAM

The Human Resources team at Rosewood Abu Dhabi is dedicated to creating an exceptional associate experience while fostering a culture of learning, growth, and service excellence. Reporting to the Assistant Director of Human Resources, the Talent Development Manager works closely with department leaders, operational teams, and associates across the hotel to drive learning initiatives, uphold Rosewood brand standards, and support the continued development of our people.

YOUR ROLE

As Talent Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the associate experience and cultivating a culture of continuous learning, engagement, and excellence. You will lead the hotel's training and development strategy, ensuring associates are equipped with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to deliver exceptional guest experiences while embodying Rosewood's guiding principles and service philosophy.

Working collaboratively with Human Resources and operational leaders, you will oversee onboarding, leadership development, quality assurance initiatives, learning programs, and associate engagement activities that support both individual growth and the overall success of Rosewood Abu Dhabi.

HOW YOU’LL MAKE THE PLACE

• Lead the design, delivery, and evaluation of learning and development programs that support associate growth and operational excellence.
• Champion Rosewood Brand Standards and LQA initiatives through regular audits, training interventions, and follow‑up action plans.
• Oversee the onboarding journey, ensuring new associates experience a seamless and engaging Discovery program and probationary follow‑up process.
• Manage leadership and talent development initiatives, including management development, mentorship, cross‑training, internship, and graduate programs.
• Analyze feedback, audit results, guest satisfaction data, and engagement survey outcomes to identify training opportunities and drive continuous improvement.
• Develop and manage annual training plans, monthly training calendars, budgets, and training records to ensure effective execution and compliance.

• You are proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly PowerPoint, and can create engaging, professional learning materials.
• You are a collaborative relationship builder who works effectively across departments and inspires a culture of service excellence and continuous improvement.
