Description
The E-Commerce & Online Activation Specialist is responsible for driving online sales performance, digital execution excellence, and flawless campaign activation across e-commerce platforms and digital retail partners. This role acts as the key link between brand and commercial teams to ensure that online touchpoints are optimized, locally relevant, and conversion-focused. The position requires strong coordination with distributors, retailers, agencies, and internal stakeholders to execute always‑on and campaign‑based activations that accelerate growth across priority markets.
Key Responsibilities
- E-Commerce Execution & Performance
- Own day‑to‑day execution of e‑commerce activities across key online retailers and marketplaces.
- Ensure best‑in‑class online shelf execution (content, imagery, A+ content, SEO, pricing, availability, ratings & reviews).
- Track and analyze e‑commerce KPIs including traffic, conversion, sell‑out, share, and ROI, and recommend optimization actions.
- Support commercial teams with online forecasting, promotions, and performance tracking.
- Online Activation & Campaign Management
- Lead digital activation of brand campaigns across e‑commerce and retailer media platforms.
- Coordinate end‑to‑end execution of promotions, launches, seasonal events, and always‑on activations.
- Ensure timely and accurate rollout of assets, messaging, and mechanics across markets and customers.
- Manage campaign calendars and alignment with brand, trade, and media plans.
- Stakeholder & Distributor Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for e‑commerce topics with distributors, retailers, and local partners.
- Brief, coordinate, and follow up with agencies on content creation, media activation, and optimization.
- Support cross‑market alignment while ensuring local relevance and compliance.
- Content & Consumer Experience
- Ensure brand consistency and high‑quality consumer experience across all online touchpoints.
- Optimize product pages and brand stores to improve discoverability and conversion.
- Coordinate localization of content where required (language, cultural relevance, regulatory needs).
- Reporting & Insights
- Prepare regular performance reports and post‑campaign evaluations.
- Translate data into actionable insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Share best practices and learnings across markets and teams.
Qualifications & Experience
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, E‑Commerce, Digital Marketing, or a related field.
Experience
- 2–3 years of experience in e‑commerce, digital marketing, online activation, or related roles.
- Hands‑on experience working with online retailers, marketplaces, or DTC platforms.
- Experience in FMCG, beauty, personal care, or consumer goods is a strong advantage.
- Exposure to regional or multi‑market setups is preferred.
Technical & Functional Skills
- Strong understanding of e‑commerce fundamentals (online shelf, conversion levers, retail media, promotions).
- Experience with analytics and reporting tools (Excel, dashboards, retailer platforms, Google Analytics or similar).
- Familiarity with digital media, content management, and campaign execution processes.
- Solid project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
