Job summary

GEMS Education is seeking an outstanding Primary ELL / Inclusion Teacher for an immediate start, or January 2027 at the latest, in a leading UAE international school.

You will support Primary students with English language acquisition and additional learning needs, collaborating with Inclusion and ELL colleagues to tailor interventions and help learners access the curriculum while developing confidence and progress.

Qualifications

• Recognised Primary teaching qualification (B.Ed/PGCE/License).
• Bachelor’s degree meeting UAE teacher approval.
• Experience in Primary/Elementary settings.
• Experience supporting ELL/EAL learners.
• Qualification in ELL/EAL, SEND, Inclusion would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support Primary students with English language acquisition and additional learning needs.
• Plan and deliver targeted individual, small-group and in-class interventions.
• Assess language and learning needs to guide support.
• Differentiate learning with classroom teachers to access the curriculum.
• Develop personalised learning strategies and student support plans.
• Monitor progress and evaluate intervention effectiveness.
• Strengthen speaking, listening, reading and writing skills across the curriculum.
