Job summary
GEMS Education invites an experienced Inclusion Lead to join our UAE international school for an immediate start or January 2027. You will provide strategic and operational leadership for inclusive education across the school, ensuring high-quality, personalised support for students with additional learning needs.
Working with the Principal, SLT, teachers, families and external professionals, you will embed inclusion in curriculum planning, monitor progress, and develop effective systems for
Qualifications
- Qualified teacher with B.Ed/PGCE or equivalent and UAE approval.
- Minimum of three years’ teaching experience with SEND/inclusion.
- Experience leading Inclusion/SEND within a school.
- Proven ability to identify, plan and monitor individual education plans.
Responsibilities
- Lead strategic development of inclusive education across the school.
- Ensure a consistent whole-school approach to identifying and supporting students with additional learning needs.
- Lead and develop the Inclusion team and align with policy.
- Monitor impact using student progress data and other evidence.
- Provide guidance and professional development to teachers and support staff around inclusive classroom practice.
- Collaborate with counsellors, ELL specialists and external agencies.
