Job summary

Qaws Al Matar Foodstuff Trading LLC in Abu Dhabi seeks an energetic Foodstuff Salesman to promote our FMCG products, grow the customer base, and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.

You will visit groceries, supermarkets and restaurants, take orders, coordinate with the warehouse, and strive to meet daily, weekly and monthly targets while upholding professional standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in foodstuff/FMCG sales is preferred.
• Good knowledge of the local market and customer network.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to achieve sales targets.
• UAE driving license preferred.
• Valid UAE visa or transferable visa is an advantage.
• Honest, hardworking, punctual, and customer-focused.

Responsibilities

• Visit groceries, supermarkets, restaurants, cafeterias, and other foodstuff customers.
• Promote and sell company food products.
• Take customer orders and ensure proper follow-up.
• Develop new customers and maintain existing customer relationships.
• Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
• Introduce new products, promotions, and offers to customers.
• Follow payment terms within company guidelines.
• Monitor customer requirements and market conditions.
• Follow up on outstanding payments when required.
• Coordinate with the warehouse and delivery team to ensure orders are fulfilled.
• Handle customer complaints and provide appropriate solutions.
• Prepare daily sales and customer visit reports.
• Maintain professional relationships with customers and represent the company positively.
