Job summary

Palazzo Versace Dubai is seeking an experienced Duty Manager to oversee daily hotel operations during assigned shifts and uphold five-star service standards across all departments.

As Manager on Duty, you will coordinate with Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B, Engineering and Security to deliver a seamless guest experience, handle requests and escalate issues promptly while leading a team with a guest-centric approach.

• Oversee daily hotel operations during assigned shifts and ensure all departments maintain high service standards.
• Act as the Manager on Duty and ensure a seamless guest experience throughout the hotel.
• Handle guest requests, feedback, and complaints professionally and ensure timely resolution.
• Coordinate with Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B, Engineering, Security, and other departments to address operational requirements.
• Monitor hotel presentation, cleanliness, service quality, and compliance with established standards.
• Support VIP arrivals, special occasions, and other guest requirements.
• Conduct regular operational checks and address any issues promptly.
• Lead, guide, and support colleagues during the shift to ensure efficient service delivery.
• Manage operational incidents and elevate significant matters to senior management when required.
• Ensure proper shift handovers, communication, and completion of daily reports.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Duty Manager, Assistant Front Office Manager, or similar role in a 5-star hotel.

• Strong knowledge of hotel operations and luxury hospitality standards.

• Excellent guest service, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.

• Professional appearance and a positive, guest-oriented approach.

• Excellent command of English; additional languages are an advantage.

• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

• Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
