Job summary

Parsons in Dubai is seeking a Materials Engineer - Infrastructure Quality with a minimum of 10 years' experience on major civil infrastructure projects. Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering, Geology Engineering, Materials Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience on infrastructure projects.
• At least 5 years UAE/GCC experience in roads, bridges, tunnels or major civil works.

Responsibilities

• Review contractor material submittals against project specs and standards.
• Coordinate approval processes for construction materials and documentation.
• Act as focal point for scheduling and controlling materials at site.
• Inspect material-related activities for contract compliance.
• Coordinate laboratories and subconsultants for testing and certification.
• Verify only approved materials are used in permanent works.
• Maintain detailed material inspection, testing and issue records.
