Blue Ocean Corporation in Dubai seeks a skilled Senior Accountant to manage daily transactions, maintain invoices and records, and support month-end closes. You will handle AP/AR, reconciliations, VAT returns, and financial reporting within UAE regulations.

The ideal candidate has 4–6 years of accounting experience, strong Arabic/English communication, and hands-on ERP knowledge (Tally, Zoho Books, SAP, Oracle). Dubai location with local regulatory compliance expected.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, commerce, or related field.
Minimum 4–6 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior role.
Native Arabic speaker with strong English communication skills.
Hands-on experience with UAE accounting practices, VAT, and financial reporting.
Proven experience in full-cycle accounting (AP, AR, GL, reconciliations, month-end).
Strong knowledge of UAE VAT compliance and VAT return preparation.
Experience preparing financial statements, management reports, and reconciliations.
Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP software (Tally, Zoho Books, SAP, Oracle).
Strong accounting principles, internal controls, and documentation skills.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills; coordination with management, auditors, banks, suppliers, customers, and teams.
ACCA/CMA/CA or equivalent is advantageous.
Availability to join on short notice preferred.

Responsabilités

Manage daily accounting transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, receipts, payments, and journal entries.
Prepare and maintain accurate invoices, vouchers, receipts, and other financial documents.
Perform bank, supplier, customer, and ledger reconciliations.
Monitor outstanding receivables and payables and ensure timely follow-up.
Assist with monthly closing, financial reports, and management reporting.
Maintain proper documentation and records of all accounting transactions.
Assist in the preparation and submission of UAE VAT returns and ensure compliance with VAT requirements.
Coordinate with suppliers, customers, banks, and internal departments regarding finance matters.
Assist with payroll-related accounting activities as required.
Support audits by providing required financial records and documentation.
Monitor expenses and ensure proper documentation.
