Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, commerce, or related field.
  • Minimum 4–6 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior role.
  • Native Arabic speaker with strong English communication skills.
  • Hands-on experience with UAE accounting practices, VAT, and financial reporting.
  • Proven experience in full-cycle accounting (AP, AR, GL, reconciliations, month-end).
  • Strong knowledge of UAE VAT compliance and VAT return preparation.
  • Experience preparing financial statements, management reports, and reconciliations.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP software (Tally, Zoho Books, SAP, Oracle).
  • Strong accounting principles, internal controls, and documentation skills.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; coordination with management, auditors, banks, suppliers, customers, and teams.
  • ACCA/CMA/CA or equivalent is advantageous.
  • Availability to join on short notice preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily accounting transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, receipts, payments, and journal entries.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate invoices, vouchers, receipts, and other financial documents.
  • Perform bank, supplier, customer, and ledger reconciliations.
  • Monitor outstanding receivables and payables and ensure timely follow-up.
  • Assist with monthly closing, financial reports, and management reporting.
  • Maintain proper documentation and records of all accounting transactions.
  • Assist in the preparation and submission of UAE VAT returns and ensure compliance with VAT requirements.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, customers, banks, and internal departments regarding finance matters.
  • Assist with payroll-related accounting activities as required.

Job Description
