Qualifications

• Strong equipment maintenance and preventive maintenance skills in kitchen and heavy catering equipment.
• Effective troubleshooting to identify, analyze, and resolve mechanical, electrical, and operational issues in kitchen systems.
• Clear and professional communication to coordinate with culinary, engineering, and vendor teams.
• Knowledge of safety standards, basic electrical and mechanical systems, and ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
• Formal technical training, certification, or diploma in engineering, mechanical, or electrical fields is beneficial.
• Previous experience as a kitchen equipment technician or similar role in hotels, resorts, or commercial kitchens is preferred.
• Ability to work shifts, respond to urgent maintenance requests, and perform physically demanding tasks safely.
• Proficiency in English; additional languages commonly used in Dubai are an advantage.
