Job summary

AECOM is seeking an experienced QHSE Manager to lead environmental, health and safety programs for its Transportation projects in Dubai. You will develop and manage safety systems, ensure regulatory compliance, and guide site teams with expert ES&H support.

The role requires 15+ years of progressive ES&H experience, strong auditing and investigations skills, and budget oversight, with on-site leadership and cross-functional coordination across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety and Health, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in environmental, safety and health management or related disciplines.
• Proven expertise developing, implementing, and managing safety and health programs across multiple operational areas.
• Experience conducting workplace investigations, hazard assessments, and root cause analyses.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain ES&H programs, systems, and operating procedures across Transportation projects.
• Monitor workplace conditions and implement measures to prevent hazards, injuries and illnesses.
• Lead ES&H program governance, audits, and regulatory interpretation to ensure compliance.
• Manage ES&H budgets and coordinate safety initiatives across projects.
• Oversee investigations of incidents and drive corrective actions and continuous improvement.
