Job summary

AECOM is seeking an experienced Environmental, Safety and Health Manager to support the Transportation business line in Dubai, UAE. The role focuses on managing ES&H programs, ensuring regulatory compliance, conducting investigations, and guiding improvements in safety performance across projects.

The candidate will lead and mentor ES&H personnel, conduct audits, and advise management on regulatory requirements and risk mitigation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in environmental, safety, and health program management or a related discipline.
• Experience conducting incident investigations, root cause analysis, and preparing technical reports.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor ES&H specialists or support personnel.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain ES&H programs, systems, and procedures across projects.
• Perform moderately complex technical assignments across environmental, safety, and health disciplines.
• Identify workplace hazards and implement preventive measures to reduce injuries and unsafe conditions.
• Administer ES&H programs on small to medium-sized projects with ongoing monitoring.
• Lead ES&H specialists and support personnel and provide professional development guidance.
