Job summary

Otis Worldwide Corporation in Dubai seeks a leader to oversee the Estimation and Engineering functions for New Equipment projects, ensuring accurate, competitive proposals and compliant with local regulations. You will drive tendering activities, manage engineering deliverables, and lead cross-functional teams.

The role partners with Sales and Operations to win major bids, provide technical and commercial guidance, and pursue process improvements that boost quality and profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).
• Master’s Degree is an advantage.
• 10+ years of experience in elevator, construction, or engineering industry.
• Minimum 5 years in a leadership role within Estimation and Engineering.
• Experience in tendering, technical reviews, and contract evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Lead preparation and review of quotations, tenders, and cost estimates.
• Ensure competitive pricing, accurate costing, and risk assessment.
• Support Sales with technical and commercial proposals.
• Drive tender quality, consistency, and process improvement.
• Manage engineering activities from tender stage through project execution.
• Review and approve technical submissions and design solutions.
• Coordinate with factories, consultants, contractors, and internal teams.
• Lead, coach, and develop Estimation and Engineering teams.
• Partner with Sales and Operations to secure project wins.
